About Kein Ouzunupi

Kein was born in a sweltering tropical outpost, where he spent almost three decades. During that time, he had a chance to work in rice paddies alongside his father and uncle, and study at colleges with unsanitary toilets and mosquitoes that cause malaria, dengue, and Zika, while eating North Korea-style rations. Materially awful as they were, his younger years put him in contact with excellent teachers that taught him mathematics, physics and computer sciences. Kein holds a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences from his tropical university and a PhD in numerical analysis from a European and not tropical-at-all university.

He now spends the days working for a global conglomerate from the comforts of a frozen land, and dreaming about a kinder world.
